The more websites that link back to your website the higher you will be ranked on a search engine. Also, content changes take time but can help improve your SEO ranking drastically. Getting rid of old content and taking the time and resources to produce new and improved content for your website can positively impact your ranking on search engines. The most efficient way to increase your rankings without taking to much of your valuable time is to just make upgrades to your old content without getting rid of it altogether. Doing this allows you to make your existing content better with every tweak you make while not having to give up too much of your time to do so.
