IATSE Local 728

Introduction

IATSE Local 728 was founded in 1939, and is dedicated to motion picture set lighting. IATSE 728 is one of many unions that help to make the amazing motion pictures that we all know and love. IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) unions provide support for their members in many different ways. However, doing that in today's day and age without utilizing technology can be a challenge.

About the Project

IATSE 728 started working with TSC Enterprises LLC who had built a custom desktop union member management system. 95Visual was then tasked with building a website that would integrate with the desktop software and allow for members to do everything from update their personal info, to pay dues. One of the features that IATSE 728 heavily uses is the skills system. The skills system allows the union to add a list of skills for the members to select. However, when IATSE 728 said that they would have over 150 skills in a list we worked to build a custom solution so that members would be able to easily add and find members by skills.
